Training

Becoming trained to provide Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is very easy! The training hours and CME are free, and the GetWaiveredNE team is here to help you with any questions. There are also different formats (in-person, online, half and half) to receive training depending on your preference and what would work best with your schedule.

Training

Getting a DEA Waiver to provide Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) requires MAT training courses. GetWaiveredNE will provide in-person opportunities for this free training periodically, but these are also available online.

Physicians

Physicians require 8 hours of training to apply to the Drug Enforcement Agency for a waiver to prescribe buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid use disorder.
